Lawmakers Seek Brief On Nigeria’s Account Status-When They Have Eaten Fat?

Lawmakers Seek Brief On Nigeria’s Account Status

The Nigerian House of Representatives has mandated a joint committee to look into the government’s accounts to determine its true status.
The mandate also requires the joint committee on Finance, Appropriation, Loans and Aids to look into the economic situation of Nigeria.
A member of the House of Representatives, Bimbo Daramola moved the motion on Thursday.
“There is need for full disclosure of the state of the Federation Accounts and Economic situation of our country,” the lawmaker said.
The committee will meet with the Minister of Finance, Heads of Revenue Agencies, Debt Management Office and related organisations and have them present to Nigerians the full status of the Federation accounts and the current economic situation.

MY VIEW

Since 1999 When this country went "democratic" all they (politicians)  have done is legally and illegally loot the nation, if they dont have fat allowances they steal or get cuts for contracts!
I have a question for everyone.... Can you show me a Politician that didn't get richer through Govt.? Even the so called "caught" politicians are still swimming in wealth ( which they did not have before)
i will be bold to say that if the national assembly know their jobs, let them cut their excesses (financial included!) and allow this country to heal, As for Our President if someone is accused of corruption......That person should not be in your entourage it only means your are part and parcel of the whole thing!
I love this country but Today  i will not "Spare the Rod!"
