Once again! In the midst of plenty we have little!!

Once again our nation (Nigeria na!) is on the verge of exploding into a very serious state of confusion, currently with fuel scarcity on the rise again.

Nigeria is a country blessed with human and natural resources with over 150 million people and abundant natural resources with the cream of them being crude Oil and gas, but this is not the issue, the issue is that presently Nigeria imports petroleum products for consumption!!

For so long we heard politicians use word like "privatization" "public private partnership" (PPP) but no head in the matter, our refineries are non-existent and presently the Federal Government wants to remove fuel subsidy without having a plan to repair/build our refineries.

Whats the game plan? Those our democratically Selected president even have a plan?? OK! i remember now!! 7 point sumthin!!! mmmmmmmhhhh i wonder where we are on that list, i don't seem to remember us doing anything on that list yet......... well that's a story for another day!!

So in conclusion the common man is not considered in any decision taken at "The rock" with the current hike in price of crude in the international market, if the subsidy is removed the common man will suffer because the importers (they know themselves na!) will make mince meat out of the rest of us! As the saying goes the rich get richer! or what do you think?

The thoughts of a burglar

The thoughts of a burglar................i wonder what goes through the mind of a house burglar?

Will he be thinking thoughts like "What if someone comes home?", "Was i seen going in?", "will i be seen making a getaway?", Really i don't know but one thing i do know, it must be pretty intense thoughts!

Why do i ask? To my detractors i am not changing "jobs" yet! it just happened to be that my crib was burgled yesterday! I got home and wondered if a tornado blew through my crib what with everything scattered to the four winds (North,East,West and South...........NEWS right?).

To crown a long story short it was not easy because i had arranged the place nicely the day before (actually wify did!) so i was really mad at first but after a sit down with my good friend Gulder and had him speak to me like four times, i got to thinking........ what went through the burglars mind during the "job".

so you tell me, what do you think?

NIgeria is 419.....i mean......

Nigeria is 419.....i mean......49! Yeah that's right!! 49 years of good
governance, good roads, em..em.. are we still talking about Nigeria?

Good question!.. who asked that question?...any one?? oh! I did!! whats there to
celebrate? Bad roads? No power?? lecturers on strike??? ooooohhhhhhhh cmon!Need i say more?

Ok! the anger is out!! (Zen moment ssssshhhhh!) Now the reason why Nigerians are known worldwide as the happiest people on the planet is because we are so used to nothing happening in naija that when we get to a country where everything works (basic facilities), we just cant believe it! and go all gah gah!!

What am really trying to say is that if there was any thing worth celebrating it would be life! cause that's all we can be sure of, the government has no hand in that (Thank God for that!)

So i declare an independence of government and celebrate life! have fun everyone e no easy!!

Lucky Devils!

Manchester United where extremely lucky today! they narrowly escaped at home in the hands of Obafemi Martins' Wolfsburg football club. The German champions gave the Reds a run for their money.

Thank God for Owen's injury because Berbatov had made a solid impact from the moment he came in, before he came in Wolfsburg where running circles on the reds, and even scored first!

A lucky deflection of the ever green Ryan Giggs free kick and a world class goal (even i appreciated it!) from Micheal Carrick saved the lucky devils!

Cheers to Wolfburg who gave the devils a real fight, and did not loose the game from the dressing rooms unlike other clubs who see old trafford as a fortress not to be toyed with, so i say to them Danke! (my German is a little rusty.....but ...who cares!)

Bottom power is the strongest!

Bottom power is the strongest! some weeks ago some village women on the outskirts of Port Harcourt city decided that enough was enough! With all the recent kidnapping and killing going on in that communities by "bad boys" who will blame them, they all decided to clean their community in a very weird way!...........using bottom power!!

They literally sat on the road at junctions and made some incantations, poured out salt, kerosene and a lot from their hearts and souls! It was a sight to behold unfortunately you had to be there to believe this!!

Will we all go on strike first?.....before.....?

Come to think of it how long have the Nigerian university students been at home? whatever our ex-lecturer leaders (yes na !) are waiting for, i don't know o! it seems that the current situation of ex militants (whats up with ex today?) in Yenegoa (Bayelsa state) had to go on strike due to poor living conditions (how are the creeks now i wonder?) they where quietely REMOVED by the GENTLE Nigerian army!

Now if the University students dont go back to school i am afriad that the VERY GENTLE Nigerian army might just have their hands full very soon because everybody don tire for these students, their wahala too much! "please bros send me credit!" and "find me somthing na!" just to use one or two of their taxing methods!

I have run out of excuses to avoid such things normally i use the usual one "just pass your exams i will surport you" now no escuses, you must deliver! To cut a long story short i...em ....sorry WE GO STRIKE O!
